Surfside FAQs

As we are situated directly on the beach, we don’t have our own car park. However, you can park in any of the local car parks around Polzeath and walk across. If you’re parking in the beach car park, you can simply walk across the beach to the bar, or if you’re parking in the coastal path car park, please follow the path to the beach and then walk across to access the bar.
Yes! Dogs are allowed in the bar at all times, but please note that they’re not allowed on the beach between 10am and 6pm from May to September.
We are a family friendly restaurant, we have a kids’ menu and we also have high chairs available for younger children. Our daytime music events are child friendly, however, during the evening under 18s must be accompanied by an adult in our bar. Some of our events may be 18 and over only, so please keep an eye on our socials for event information or ask a member of staff if you’re unsure!
Yes. We have both veggie and vegan options, we are also able to cater for all allergens if you inform us prior to your meal.
It may be difficult to get across the beach to our restaurant, so if you’re struggling please contact us and we can arrange to pick you up in our beach buggy to get you across the beach. We do have a disabled toilet, however our bar isn’t wheelchair friendly as there is no ramp access. If you have a pushchair, they can be lifted up the stairs to enable bar access.
We have free wifi throughout the restaurant and bar, and we also have baby changing facilities downstairs.
Bookings are ideally made online, however, they can also be taken over the phone too. We always advise booking in advance as we can not guarantee walk-ins will be accepted.
It’s card only in our rum bar and beach bar, however we do accept cash in our upstairs bar. We accept all major credit cards including Amex.
